Our purpose is to support the personal and professional development of our members as they aspire to undertake new challenges to empower communities both locally and internationally.
Our success has been widely recognised; in over five years of operation, Enactus Durham has won the National Competition not once, but twice! We represented the University and Enactus UK & Ireland in Utrecht, Netherlands in 2023, and in Astana, Kazakhstan in 2024. In 2025 we were thrilled to reach the final once again, this time placing Runners Up. Bring on 2026!

The Incubation Team
The Incubation Team is where Enactus Durham members come together to generate ideas for new social enterprise projects. The team’s role is to come up with and test the viability of new project ideas so that we can expand our reach and impact. At Enactus, we think of project outcomes and impact under three categories – People, Planet, and Prosperity. The team should investigate, observe and listen to the priorities, strengths, needs, wants, and goals of the target audience. All projects should demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership, innovation, good business principles and positive social impact.
We would love anyone with a passion for business and/or helping people to join the team. No matter what subject you are doing or your previous level of experience, we would love to have your ideas and input!
